Frequently Asked Questions
Why here?
The site has been identified as a sustainable and suitable location for new housing, helping to meet local demand, on land we consider to be Grey Belt. It benefits from excellent transport links into Frodsham and offers an opportunity to create a high-quality residential community that integrates seamlessly into the area.
When will a planning application be submitted?
We are currently preparing a Full planning application, which we will submit following this consultation. Your feedback is essential in shaping the final plans before submission.
What measures are in place to ensure sustainability?
Our scheme at Chester Road will feature energy-efficient homes with sustainable technologies, such as EV charging points. Landscaping and green spaces will enhance biodiversity, and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) will help manage surface water effectively.
How will the development affect local services and infrastructure?
We will work closely with the local authority to assess the impact on schools, healthcare, and transport. Where necessary, financial contributions will be made to support improvements to local infrastructure.
How will the development manage traffic and access?
The site will have a single vehicular access point from Chester Road, designed to accommodate safe and efficient movement. Pedestrian and cycle routes will provide alternative transport options, linking to existing networks and public transport services. Transport Assessments have been undertaken and will be submitted alongside our planning application.
What impact will the development have on the environment?
Our proposals include measures to enhance green infrastructure, retain existing mature trees and hedgerows where possible, and improve biodiversity. We are committed to delivering a net gain in biodiversity across the site.
